MongoDB as a message Queue with Node.js
Wednesday 11 Apr 2012 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Mike O'Brien will demonstrate how to build a message queue with MongoDB and Node.js as the building blocks. MongoDB's schemaless structure and custom _ids make it an excellent tool for logging--so why not try it to store and power a messaging queue? In this demo, Mike will emphasize why MongoDB's core characteristics--schemaless BSON documents, capped collections and durability --are ideal for creating a high-performance MQ.
