Wednesday 19 Apr 2017 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Hi Nodesters! We've got great talks this month! NOTE THE LOCATION at Google!!!*

When you get to the 75 9th Ave entrance of Chelsea Market, enter and ascend the metal stairs on the right hand side, about 30 feet into the building. That will take you to Google's 2nd floor office. Once in the office, the conference room is located behind the wall with the giant GOOGLE letters lit up. See you soon!

Codesoju - Best practices and tools around Web, Mobile, API and Microservices development

Team members from Cedrus will be joining us to talk about CodeSoju: a set of best practices & tools that deliver cloud native modern Enterprise Web & Mobile applications in AngularJS & Node.

This process starts with a JSON/Schema or a database enforcing API best practices, then generates ready to deploy artifacts to a major API management solution (such as IBM API Connect, AWS API Gateway). It runs on CloudFoundry as a Node.js & Java Microservices as well as a Serverless Node.js Lambda function on AWS.

Boris Dinkevich - *Advanced Redux*

Boris joins us from Israel where he runs the country's largest Angular and React communities and the consulting firm 500Tech. Behind this tiny library hides a whole world of complexity. We will talk about Middlewares, store decorators, reducer decorators, helper libraries and take a peek behind the scenes of connect().

Ilya Gelman - Seamless Server Mocks w/ Mimic.js

Mimic.js is an open source tool for imitating server responses purely on the client side. In this talk you will learn about mimic.js, the technical challenges we faced in trying to make it unobtrusive for your application, and real-life problems we faced in making it completely open source.

More Lightning Talks Spots Available! Reach out with topics to present!

***Note on security***: As always, please ensure your full name is listed on your Meetup profile, if you RSVP yes to join. Building security will need it to grant you access to the event.

Extra note on location! We'll be at Google this month. Thanks to Google for hosting! It's going to be a great event!

See you there!
