Wednesday 21 May 2014 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Charlie Robbins is the CEO of Nodejitsu (www.nodejitsu.com), who offer a Platform As A Service for hosting Node.js apps in the cloud. They also offer private NPM hosting. In this talk Charlie will talk about the work they're doing in offering a version of NPM that is always-up and has features beyond the NPM we know today. This talk will be fresh off the presses of <a>http://empirejs.org.</a>; If you can't make the conference, catch the talk here! And if you are attending EmpireJS, stop by for the updated talk, catching up with Charlie in person, and for this month's lightening talks!

This month's lightening talks include:

Dan Oved will be talking about generators, a feature of javascript ES6 that has recently landed in the V8 runtime and can be used to cleanup Node.js code that uses callbacks.  He will go through a quick demo of refactoring callback code into easier-to-read code that uses generators.

Thanks, as always to Shutterstock for hosting us!
